Tim Hardaway recently expressed his feelings about gay people. Needless to say, it wasn’t pretty. May people in the gay community were offended, hurt and upset with his comments. However, there were some people who were able to rise above their hurt feelings and offer forgiveness. One such person was George Takei.
Thank you George for showing true compassion… passion… whatever.

< the Pirate > guild is currently taking applications for a new Guild position - Cruise Director. This position will be given to ladies only.
This person will be super uber, revered and smell of elderberries. We are looking for someone who likes the idea of throwing guild parties, coming up with guild events, and just creating new and fun things to do. There is no “RULES” or anything for the job, I’d just like to have someone who likes keeping the place lively. Thinking at least a once in a month kinda thing. The guild is more than willing to help with expenses and ideas. Just need some lady to be in charge. Who knows, if it really works out, there may be a weekly salary!

Basically, you CAN get the XBOX 360 HD-DVD drive and use it on a Windows computer. Paying $200 > Paying $500 for an HD-DVD drive.
So RUN, don’t walk to your nearest BB and pick this thing up before M$ changes the drive in some evil way.

So the day is half way over and I’m pumped. I’m trying to decide if I want to eat more than a peanut butter sandwich and orange for lunch. While I’m being indecisive, I popped in my headphones and started up some My Chemical Romance “The Black Parade” musak! MCR gets a pretty bad reputation because of their “emo” roots, but their new album rocks like a geezer on viagra! Hmmm not sure they rock so much. Regardless, they are a full fledged rock band now so I don’t feel like I should paint my fingernails black and wear chains when listening anymore. Now I feel like people should die. Sure, they still sing about death, death, dying and death, but they have created one mole kicking CD. (Do they make cassettes anymore? Besides Barry Manilow stuff of course.)
I am also going to their concert in Pensacola, FL in April so I’m pumped. Yetuc is coming along out of curiosity and a little masochistic tendencies, but that’s her personal thing. Chains and handcuffs are the sexah! Isn’t that right Ravy?!? So I’m going with a friend and his lady. Should be fun rocking out to Death itself. Unfortunately we are not going to have floor seats so I will miss out on crowd surfing, hot-topic wearing retards but you do what you can. Maybe I’ll find some bleacher kid and toss him down a few rows of seats. Those guys would never see the kid coming. After watching some of their concerts on comcrap cable, I think they have a potty mouth. I’m afraid I’m going to be so damn offended by their motherhumping language. Should I wear ear plugs.

Active Directory is making me it’s bitch. It isn’t a pleasant experience either. Long story long, over the weekend one of our servers crashed. This server had a sweet setup of WindowsNT and even had a few Pentium 2’s thrown in! Talk about rocking. Since we knew that the server would eventually crash, we asked EVERYONE to move their files from the rocking system to another Windows 2003 server.
You know what happened…
When the server crashed people started screaming “FIX ME FIRST”. When we had to make a priority list (I don’t understand why people assume their at the top of that list), some people got offended that they weren’t taken care of right away. Thus my week has been fun. Along with irate people (who think I give a damn that they can’t access their files… because God knows it’s MY FAULT I didn’t move THEIR files like we asked), I have had people throwing the Hospital Administrator’s name around. Like that is going to make things move faster.
So now I am in the process of cleaning shit up and reorganizing people’s folders that were in a fubar condition. While we’re giving access to certain folders to the right people we are also having to change their computers over to Active Directory. Doing one of these activities is hard enough. Now we’re forced to do both. Guess I better stop posting and get the hell to work.

swlrd: well, i think it is because i’m stupid, have no regard for others, and have my head too far up my butt to see where i’m driving.
host: and what about you yetuc?
yetuc: arrr, swlrd was right, because she is too brain damaged to be allowed a driver’s license i’ve decided she needs to “walk the plank”!!
host: what could swlrd possibly have done to deserve such punishment?
yetuc: it all started when i set sail for work this morning. as everyone knows there are two lanes leaving the harbor, one port and one starboard. i was in the port lane waiting for the winds to pick-up enough to move me into open waters, i had looked back and noticed another ship just pulling out from the pier. just as i had spotted a good wind and was preparing to go, the other ship pulls into the starboard lane, the pulls out in front of me and sat there waiting for the right gust of wind. my blood, it was a boilin’.
host: what do you have to say in response swlrd?
swlrd: how could this possibly be my fault?? you can’t possibly expect me to wait half a minute for this pirate to pull out!! i simply am too important to wait that long.
